are you stressed about something now ...

Take a deep breath and breath out slowly

Think - this will be over soon

Try writing down the problem or problems in order of badness e.g.

no 1 ......................... (worst)

no 2......................... (terrible)

no 3......................... (not so bad)


Think of something good that's coming later

Tell yourself positive things e.g. "I can do it, I will be OK"

Tell someone you like that you are worried



or something coming ...

Get prepared - if you can

Write down a list of things to do

Tell someone you like that you are worrying

Think about just what's happening today

Imagine "what's the worst that can happen?" write it down or draw a picture of it

Talk to yourself logically e.g. it probably won't be that bad. There will be somebody to help
